Olly Murs has opened up on tour buddies One Direction, saying "what you see is what you get".

The former X Factor man has been supporting the lads on tour in North America and he told Celebuzz about life on the road with the popular quintet.

When asked if he knows something about One Direction that their fans don't, he replied:

"There's nothing really that the fans don't know about them. They are what they are, you know? They are just five young guys having a great time. That's what I love about them. What you see is what you get. There's nothing I know about them really that no one else does. They just are who they are."

Murs was then asked if he liked boybands before One Direction, revealing a love of US stars N'SYNC. He replied:

"Yeah! I was a massive N'SYNC fan. It was always Backstreet Boys and N'SYNC and I like both. If it came down to it, N'SYNC would always be my favourite. I love Justin Timberlake, I love JC [Chasez] the whole group. I've got every single album. Massive fan."
