Olly Murs has revealed that Robbie Williams consoled him after he fell down steps at a festival.

The internet has been buzzing with an unfortunate video of Murs tumbling down stairs during his performance at GuilFest on Saturday (July 14).

It's no laughing matter, however, with Murs telling Capital FM that he thought he was going to break his leg as a result of the fall.

The Xtra Factor host also revealed that Take That star Robbie Williams sent him a video of himself falling over on stage at a large concert in an effort to make him feel better. He said:

"It was really funny because I was in last night and I got an email from Robbie [Williams]. And Robbie said, 'Just so you feel better about yourself'. And he sent me a link of him falling over on stage at this massive show, live on TV, in front of 24 countries and 300 million people or something. I thought that was really sweet."
