Tell us about yourself and your music?
I am a Dallas-based singer-songwriter. I grew up in a musically inclined family and was inspired by my blind pianist mother. I love to sing; I love to write; I love to inspire people and give people hope through music. My latest release, “BE FREE,” which debuted October 9th 2020, comes from a place of having to find joy when all joy seemed lost. I am excited to be back in the game, and hope that through my story and music, I can be an inspiration to others. Music has always been a way out for me. I love to sit down and write songs, whether it's about having a good time or going through a struggle. The icing on the cake is bringing the beat and music in to play with the lyrics. The song just really comes to life! Overall, I would describe my music as energetic, tasteful, and authentic.
“I sing because I’ve seen” – Chad

How would you describe your sound?
I would describe my sound as a mixture of old school R&B artists such as Boyz 2 Men, Brian Mckight, and Stevie Wonder mixed with the modern vibes of Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown and T-Pain. My music has various elements through each song that incorporates both pop and R&B.

Talk about the experience making your single?
This song was born out of the ups and downs of life and needing to find joy in the moment. Oftentimes life can just beat you up and you feel like you can never catch a break. At least that's how I felt when I wrote " Be Free". It started with a beatbox memo I did on my phone and it slowly morphed into something more. I took it to my producer, Mr. DaMention, and told him that I wanted to write a catchy, sing-a-long song that will make people forget about their worries for a moment and just dance and sing. So, we started and the rest is kinda history.

What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?
I am working on a Christmas EP that will be out at the end of November. My team and I are in the process of figuring out when we want to release another single that will lead to my album dropping in 2021. As of right now, we are booking live shows for 2021 and in the process of having some live events online.

What has been your biggest highlight in your music career this far?
In all realness, my biggest highlight has been being able to walk back into the studio again and create music after recovering from an 18 - Wheeler accident. I'm super grateful for every moment.

Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s)?
I would love to work with one of these 3 artists: Boyz 2 Men, Brian Mckight or Stevie Wonder. I guess if I had to pick one, it would be Stevie Wonder.

Name something random that people do not know about you?
I'm scared of nature...like snakes, bats, alligators, etc...

What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?
Everything is a process. It takes time to get where you want to be so we have learn to enjoy the process, live with vision, and be in the moment too.

What can we expect from you in the future?
You can expect a Christmas EP to be out in late November 2020 and a lot more music to be hitting the platforms at the beginning of 2021.
