Tell us about yourself and your music?
I go by Izabel Honey I’m a Guatemalan/Spaniard singer based in San Dimas California. I love love to sing and song write. I’m petite but have a big personality. I’m the oldest of 4 siblings but the shortest. I love shopping anything pink or sparkly I WANT IT! I’m such a diva but genuinely have a good heart. I am Christan and put all my faith in god and my future. I’m a cat lover I have two rescues Chance and Louie. My babies! Meow

How would you describe your sound?
My sound is very soulful yet poppy at the same time. I’d like to believe I have a very unique voice.

Talk about the experience of making your single?
Making “thinkin bout ya” was such a fun process! This song was one of my very first songs I fell in love with. I help make the beat and over all sound. It was just a vibe. I was feeling so wanted at the time and I really adored this one guy and I just had to put it into my lyrics. You know the feeling when you get butterflies in your stomach when you see someone or even think about someone special, well yah that’s the whole song! I still feel it when I hear it.

What are you currently working on? Any new projects? Shows?
I have tons of new projects I’m working on and a ton of Collabs! Some more R&B and even rap I can’t wait! My next song will be coming out in February stay tuned! And once this pandemic is over I want to travel and do shows!!

What has been your biggest highlight in your music career thus far?
The biggest highlight in my career would have to be the people . First of all my listeners! My heart is so full seeing my “fan” enjoy my music posting videos. I don’t even feel like they are fans they are my friends at this point ! Second would be my team! My team is my backbone the push me to keep going even on my worst days, and for that I’m forever grateful.

Name your ideal collaboration: mainstream or independent artist(s)?
If I could collab with anyone it would have to be Ariana grande ! I’m such a fangirl! Second would lauryn hill, she’s my biggest influence I love everything about that women and I met her she’s sooooo genuine that’s what I inspire to be .

Name something random that people do not know about you?
I know how to DJ but I just do it in my room our for my friends! I’ll keep practicing and show the world on day . DJ Izzy

What’s one thing you have learned or discovered while being in the indie music scene/industry?
I learn something new everyday that I step into the studio. One thing I stand by is leaving my problems behind when I step into the studio because it will reflect my overall performance. Being in the industry one thing I learned is to be confident in your craft because if your not people will be able to tell.

What can we expect from you in the future?
I’m going to be releasing some rap not only am I a singer I also write raps and I can’t wait for you guys to hear it. More music videos on the way too!
