Feisty pop star P!nk has told her fans that she has been put on "complete vocal rest" by her physician and has also been forced to cancel two of her upcoming tour dates. 

Writing on her official Twitter page earlier today (October 17), the superstar explained that she was made to pull out of the concerts in order to recover and both gigs have now been rescheduled without too much trouble:

"Thanks for all the support y'all. Not very dramatic- doctor just wants me on complete vocal rest for four days to heal. So I can kick ass."

P!nk then returned to the social networking site and joked that her life would be so much easier if she mimed on stage at each concert while reassuring her followers that she is alright:

"Both shows rescheduled and very quickly. Touring would be terribly easy if I lip-synched. See you soon xo."
