Cher Lloyd Launches Streetwear Brand GLOBROWSE / BUY THE NEW STREETWEAR BELOWOFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY Post Kulture Singer, mother and businesswoman, Cher Lloyd, has just dropped her new streetwear brand, GLO. Having spent the last few months working on both her new single “M.I.A” and her new clothing label, Cher Lloyd is back and here to stay.
The idea for the GLO brand began with the lightning bolt motif, which is a symbol of both strength and power. This was something Cher knew she wanted the clothes to embody when creating the collection. This is also why each item includes the small embroidered lightning detail - as a way to remind everyone that they can be strong, powerful and fearless. When it comes to the fashion in the 11-piece capsule, boxy military silhouettes and industrial-style streetwear were big style influences. The ready-to-wear collection is casual and features pops of neon orange detailing. The GLO collection will go live at 2pm (BST) on Post Kulture’s website.
Multi-platinum selling singer Cher Lloyd first rose to fame when she appeared on The X Factor in 2010. Since then she has released two albums, amassed over 20 million followers across her socials and has almost a billion views on YouTube. On top of this Cher has also collaborated with the likes of Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift and most recently, Quintino. Cher Lloyd’s latest single M.I.A was released last week and has just hit 1 million views on YouTube.

"I’ve always wanted to create my own fashion brand since I was a little girl. "While dancing in the mirror with a hairbrush I’d envision what I’d be wearing in the music video. The chance to create GLO has been a dream come true. GLO was created with a strong vision of power, strength and confidence. "Every time you wear GLO I hope that it makes you feel exactly that - strong and powerful."
Cher and her dancers also wear the GLO B’bolt! Crop tops in the music video for her latest single “M.I.A”.
GLO features both accessories and garments and starts at £8.50 for the GLO logo bandanas and goes up to £40 for the Cropped Zip Sweater and Tapered Joggers. Shop the GLO collection exclusively on Post Kulture’s website (link below) today, Friday 18th October at 2pm (BST)
