Recognized as a live drum and bass pioneer, Kēvens was the first to bring these musical elements to the early rave scene back in the late 90s. Kēvens has performed live with his band at iconic EDM festivals such as The Florida Zen Music Festival, Cyberfest, and Ultra Music Festival.

The global reset of the 2020 lockdown sent Kēvens back to the basics of Jamaica’s Sound Systems Culture, leading his musical journey down paths yet to be discovered. Sound Systems are towering speaker systems that originated in the Caribbean during the 1950's and brought people together through a shared listening experience. DJs, also known as Selectors, would put together stacks of speakers to create mobile sound systems on wheels, trucks, and even unique designs with art and colors.

In Jamaica, Sound Systems were a huge part of daily life, providing soundtracks through dub plates, specials, and sound boxes. Even today, Sound System culture continues to evolve globally, amplifying and broadcasting from its Jamaican roots. It's such a creative way to showcase the individuality of each sound maker.”
