Rebecca Black issues YouTube with a Take Down Notice for 'Friday'

A Take Down Notice has been issued to YouTube by representatives of Rebecca Black, and the video to ‘Friday’ has now been removed.

This follows the dispute the singer has with Ark Music Factory after they listed the video as a pay-to-play video at the price of $2.99 per play.

“We can confirm that we submitted a Take Down Notice to YouTube as a result of the dispute we have with Ark Music regarding the 'Friday' video," the rep explained in a statement.  

Rebecca Black confirmed on Twitter that the pay-to-play marketing ploy was not her idea. "Thanks for all the messages regarding the $2.99 fee added to Friday video, I have NOTHING to do with this!!"
