The Saturdays want a No.1 single

The Saturdays have reiterated their desire to see one of their singles hit the top of the UK chart.

The girl group are yet to secure a No.1, with the quintet coming achingly close in 2009 with the No.2 single 'Just Can't Enough'.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Una Healy said that she would to see their upcoming single 'What About Us' claim the top spot.

However, the singer remains cautious and is refusing to put all her eggs in one basket. She said:

"You'll always be hoping, but I don't want to count our chickens and get too excited. If it doesn't happen I don't want to feel disappointed, because we've got this far without ever having one."

The Saturdays star continued: "It would definitely be a cherry on top if we ever did get one. I won't put all my hopes on it, but I'll be very pleased if we get a good Top 10 position of some sort."

The group's new single 'What About Us' is released in the UK on Sunday (March 17).
