Shakira on 'The Voice' role: 'I'm learning more about myself than I expected'

Songstress Shakira has opened up about being a mentor on the current season of America's 'The Voice' and confessed that she's learning just as much as her team.

Speaking to Extra about taking part in the TV talent show, the 'Hips Don't Lie' beauty explained that she's been very lucky with the group she is mentoring because they take things on board and use their own initiative:

"They're all so cute. I think I have the best team ever. They're very talented and they all seem nice people. They're eager, they're willing to learn more about themselves and they're taking direction very well."

"They're collaborative and they have ideas, too. It's really been fun. A fun experience. To me, there's nothing like it that I've experienced before. It's a complete new experience to me, too, and I'm learning a lot about myself as a mentor."
