“Long Live The Chief” is the latest track from Jidenna. With a kicking, gale force beat Jidenna is angry. Firing out lines on his upbringing, his purpose and his aspirations, this is one of the most important, punch-to-the-brain tunes of 2016.

The track featured on the latest episode of Netflix’s Marvel Comics hit series “Luke Cage”. Watch his stunning appearance below. 

As a result the track has begun to fly in the US iTunes Chart, breaking the Top 40 and marching up the UK charts.

Since signing with Janelle Monae’s Wondaland label in the US, JIdenna has gone from strength to strength. Debut track “Classic Man” was one of the tracks of 2015 and his remixes have featured cosigns from Kendrick Lamar and T-Pain. He went on the Eephus Tour with Janelle across the US and featured on her track “Hell You Talmbout”. 

Charisma, style and a highly tuned sense of social awareness make this Brooklyn-born, Nigeria-raised superstar-in-waiting. Jidenna is currently working on his debut album, due early next year.
