Taylor Swift makes fan's birthday with cash gift in New York

Country-pop superstar Taylor Swift recently made one of her fans' birthdays after they ran into her in New York City.

A fan, who was celebrating her birthday, and her friend were rowing a boat in Central Park when they spotted the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' songstress strolling around with a reporter from the Rolling Stone. They rowed over to where Swift was and she helped the birthday girl out of the boat so they could take a photograph together.

Alex Garcia, who was on the boat with his friend, took to his Twitter page and shared the snapshot in question, but also revealed that Swift gave his friend a bundle of cash to enjoy the day with: "In New York City celebrating my friend's birthday, we went for a boat ride and we found Taylor Swift!"

When asked by a follower what Swift gave to her friend, Alex Garcia explained that she handed over cash after they told her they were going to Mexican chain restaurant Chipotle for lunch: "90 dollars! LMAO she told Taylor that we were going to Chipotle and Taylor just gave her that!"
