Taylor Swift reschedules gig at request of baseball team Houston Astros
Taylor Swift has been forced into moving an upcoming concert at the request of baseball team Houston Astros.
The singer had been scheduled to perform at the city's Minute Maid Park on October 13 as part of her 1989 Tour.
However, the show was always under the risk of being pulled as the Houston Astros, who play at the ground, may have needed the venue.
It has now transpired that the Major League Baseball team are in contention to take part in this season's playoffs - meaning that the gig needs to be moved.
Swift's new date is set for September 9 at the same venue.
The show meanwhile comes in support of the singer's smash hit 2014 album '1989'.
