Taylor Swift has earned herself yet another high-profile fan in the form of Oprah Winfrey.

Media superstar and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey lavished personal praise on Taylor Swift during a promotional trip to Australia whilst talking to the Herald Sun newspaper.

Winfrey labelled the ‘Shake It Off’ singer “a true great role model.”

Oprah added: “I’ve never seen any woman handle herself the way she does.”

Earlier this week Taylor Swift made the dream of one of her fans come true.

A young Australian fan named Jorja Hope, who suffers from a progressive medical condition which will eventually result in the loss of her hearing, expressed sadness over the prospect of not being able to hear Taylor Swift’s music anymore.

In response, Taylor met Jorja ahead of playing a live show at ANZ Stadium last week.
