Taylor Swift is the first performer to be announced for this year's Capital FM Summertime Ball.

The massive pop event will take place at London's Wembley Stadium on June 9.

Swift will return to the UK for the date as she continues to promote her hugely successful 2012 record 'Red'.

As previously reported, Justin Timberlake was recently announced to host the concert, with no word on whether he will also perform or not.

Last year's Summertime Ball event saw the likes of Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Jessie J perform to a massive crowd. Watch Taylor Swift perform live below:
