Taylor Swift T-shirts pulled from stores

Taylor Swift T-shirts sold by Abercrombie & Fitch have been pulled from shelves thanks to a petition launched by the superstar's fans.

The summer garment featured the phrase 'more boyfriends than t.s' - a mocking reference to the star's seemingly colourful love life.

However, Swift's fans hit out at the T-shirt, deeming the slogan "hurtful".

Abercrombie & Fitch have since withdrawn the garment, taking to social networking site Twitter to announce: "Hey #swifties we no longer sell the tshirt. We <3 Taylor's music and think she's awesome! (sic)."

Swift's fans will surely be pleased by the outcome, after one die-hard fan even created a video of herself calling Abercrombie & Fitch's head office to complain about the T-shirt and posted it on video sharing website YouTube.

The popular high street store has now pre-recorded a message to those calling the public relations office, stating: ''Thank you for calling Abercrombie & Fitch public relations. If you are calling regarding the Taylor Swift T-shirt, please note that this is no longer available.'' Watch a fan video posted on YouTube here:
