Taylor Swift has teamed up with Tegan and Sara to perform their track 'Closer' live.

The collaboration took place on Tuesday night (August 20) whilst the country-pop star was playing at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

They performed the Canadian duo's track 'Closer', which featured on their 2013 record 'Heartthrob'.

Speaking after hitting the stage, Tegan and Sara said on Twitter: "Feeling so freaking lucky to have shared the stage with @taylorswift13 to perform #closer We vote Taylor for president. What a #heartthrob."

It's the second live team-up recently for Swift, who brought out Cher Lloyd to perform her track 'Want U Back' at the same venue on Monday (August 19). Watch Swift and Tegan and Sara perform live below:
