Taylor Swift has written song for Paul Potts movie

Taylor Swift has confirmed that she has worked on a new biopic about Paul Potts.

The US country-pop star has penned a song for the end credits to One Chance, which is set to document the life of the Britain's Got Talent opera star.

Swift's track will be performed in the flick by Alexandra Roach. Speaking about her role, the 'Red' star said:

"It's amazing to be a part of this project. It's a movie that really moved me in a way that I haven't been moved in a long time, and to have just a small part in telling the story. I wrote the end credits song so it's the last thing you see of the story and I'm really, really honoured."

James Corden plays the role of Potts in the film, but he has been dubbed during the singing sections with the real voice. He said:

"It was very, very straightforward. I would pretend to be singing opera, and then Paul would go into the studio and loop to my mouth. I hope I haven't given it away too much, but that's basically what happened."

One Chance meanwhile is due to hit UK cinemas from October 25. Watch a trailer for One Chance below:
