Taylor Swift: 'I'm slightly terrified for this year to end'

Country-pop beauty Taylor Swift has revealed that while she has big plans for 2014, she's anxious about the end of this year because it means that everything has to change.

Speaking to reporters at the American Music Awards last night (November 24), where she won a total of 4 prizes, the hitmaker confessed that she's already working on her forthcoming new studio album and there's an abundance of content to write about:

"We got a lot already. There are probably seven or eight [songs] that I know I want on the record. It's really ahead of schedule for me."

"I'm just stoked because it's already evolved into a new sound, and that's all I wanted. And I would have taken two years to make that happen, but it just kind of happened naturally, so that's all I could really ask for."

She was also asked about the speculative release date of the next record, and when it was suggested that it might come out in the final quarter of the year she said: "I think that's a fair thing to expect."
