Tulisa Contostavlos has signed a three book deal with publishers Headline Books.

The publishers confirmed on their Twitter account that the X Factor judge will release an autobiography and two other books, which have yet to be revealed.

Digital Spy reports that Tulisa said that getting novels published is a "dream come true". She said:

"I'm really excited to start work on these books. Having my novels published is a dream come true for me. I'm also looking forward to sharing my life story so far; I've got lots to tell. Headline is the perfect place for me to build my writing career."

Headline's Deputy Publishing Director Sarah Emsley praised Tulisa's role model values, describing how she has risen up through the ranks to become a success. She said:

"Tulisa is an incredibly talented writer and musician and, as her mentoring of Little Mix on this year's X Factor has shown, she is an inspiration for young women everywhere. Aged only 23 she has battled through a tough childhood and difficult personal relationships whilst acting as the sole carer for her mother, to become an incredibly successful recording artist."
