22 SEPTEMBER 2020 (TORONTO, ON) - Acclaimed British musician Michael Kiwanuka has filmed a new session recording of “Solid Ground”, lifted from his third album, KIWANUKA, performed live from London’s Victoria & Albert Museum.

The new rendition, alongside a string quartet was filmed by director Raja Virdi last week, with young Atlantan artist Markeidric Walker’s portrait of Michael for the KIWANUKA album artwork finding a temporary space within the iconic V&A collection.

Later this week, Michael and eleven of his peers will discover who takes home this year’s Mercury Music Prize, with KIWANUKA giving Michael his third nomination in as many albums.
