Naeya releases her captivating single Stay Away
Born in San Francisco, the singer-songwriter Naeya moved to Los Angeles in 2012 to pursue her music career. With the precious help of producers Clayton William (E-40, Justin Bieber, Sage The Gemini) and John Strucel, she successfully signed a co-publishing deal with distinguished production companies Alcon Entertainment and Sleeping Giant Media, home to artists known as No Doubt, Colbie Caillat, Paul McCartney, and many more.
After taking her first steps in the industry on the stage of the Grammy Party in 2013 and performing at the legendary House of Blues (prior to its closing in 2015), Naeya bared her soul in her debut EP entitled Secrets. The project was introduced to the audience back in November 2016 with the single Enough, an affective and effective gem infusing indie, electronic and R&B influences. Teaming up once again with her long-term collaborator John Strucel, the artist is now gearing up to release her brand new single Stay Away. "When John and I began working together, we both gravitated towards dark, raw, and emotional music. When we come together, it feels right, and that’s when you know you’ve created something authentic and unique", she reveals.
Beautifully and sincerely penned by Naeya herself, Stay Away is about "drowning out the noise of everyone against you when you’re in love". The captivating song is the first of a series of exclusive tracks which will be unveiled all throughout winter. Stay Away will be available on all platforms on January 20th.
