A spokeswoman for Victoria Beckham has clarified the rumours circulating that suggest she has booked herself in for a cesarean section on July 4. 

Speaking to The Daily Mail, the couple's representative confirmed that "early July is correct" although she wouldn't specify if their daughter was set to be born on America's Independence Day:

"It is no secret that Victoria will be having her baby in the U.S. - we will not be confirming the date although early July is correct."

Amid speculation that Atlanta is going to be the baby's name, the rep explained:

"David and Victoria have a shortlist of names and once they have met their daughter then they will decide - Atlanta is not on that shortlist!"
