Sydney, Australia… Australian band Stormcellar are making their fourth trip to the US starting with the Midwest in August and September; perhaps the most politically charged time period in American history. In this election season, Stormcellar promises to take your mind off the static and give you a moment of peace in unsettled weather. The band is touring to support their two latest albums “Everywhere Feels Like Home” and “The Curious Assembly”. Stormcellar is currently in the studio in Indianapolis recording their ninth studio album with ex- John Fogerty producer Alan Johnson.
One of Australia’s top Roots bands, Stormcellar has gained a cult following in the American heartland after 3 years of writing, recording and touring in the United States. Stormcellar has two #1 albums (Hired Guns and Borrowed Glory, and, Nuevo Retro) and have spent over 22 months on the Australian charts as well as a Top 50 spot on the US Blues Chart. The award winning and chart topping band have a hit song-writing pedigree that fuses influences of Mid-Western Rock, Blues, Country and Folk; along with strange Australian-ness and Adult Contemporary chord progressions.
