5 Seconds of Summer: 'As this band grows, we're growing as people'

5 Seconds of Summer believe that they are progressing as human beings as the band grows.

The group formed in 2011 and their members have yet to hit the age of 21.

The band were asked by eTalk if they worry if they are getting too famous too quickly.

Guitarist Michael Clifford, however, said in reply:

"As this band grows, we're growing as people. We're getting older."

Luke Hemmings interjected: "And we're getting taller."

Ashton Irwin added: "I enjoy people seeing the mistakes we make, and the good things that we do, because we're just really real people."

5 Seconds of Summer meanwhile released their self-titled debut album earlier this year and it hit No.1 in the US.
