5 Seconds of Summer star Michael Clifford has lavished praise on a new One Direction song.

The boyband released their latest album 'Made in the A.M.' and it seems one track in particular is exciting the Australian.

He tweeted on Sunday (November 15): "Oh yeah holy sh*t What A Feeling by 1D is probably the greatest song ever."

5 Seconds of Summer have supported One Direction on tour recent years.

The pop-punks meanwhile released their own new album 'Sounds Good Feels Good' in October.

It reached No.1 in the UK and the US upon release.

The record followed up their 2014 self-titled debut.
