Ariana Grande's grandfather taught her a precious lesson

Superstar Ariana Grande has revealed that her late grandfather taught her a lesson she will never forget shortly before his death in the summer of 2014.

During a new interview with Style magazine, Grande explained that he refused to let her cancel a scheduled television to stay with him at his bedside, and she has carried that lesson with her ever since:

"My grandpa always told me I had to do things. I remember when he was very, very sick - he was actually passing away - and I made a commitment to do the Today show in the morning. I was like, 'Grandpa, I'm staying here with you'. And he said, 'No, you're going to go.' That's going to haunt me forever. Now I have to do everything."

Grande, meanwhile, recently launched her second clothing collection for high-street clothing retailer Lipsy and admitted that it's a fun and flirty line: "It was so great being able to create a follow up range for my fans for one of my favourite seasons. Summer is all about dressing girly, flirty and fun and my Lipsy range is definitely a reflection of that. I love fashion from the Sixties, especially all things Audrey Hepburn."
