Cher is on course to have the highest-grossing tour of the year.

The singer has been taking her Dressed To Kill run around the US recently and it raised $54.9m (£32m) before taking a break last weekend.

This included 49 sell-out shows across the country and the tour's second leg is due to kick off in September.

Cher has played to 610,000 fans in total so far, with tickets priced between $61-$560 (£35.50-£326).

The veteran bagged $1.75m (£1m) alone from a gig at MGM's Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 25.

US rockers Bon Jovi meanwhile played 90 sell-out shows to gross $205m (£125m) and secure the highest paid tour of 2013.
