Cody Simpson on Justin Bieber collaborative project: 'You'll hear it in about two months'

Australian heartthrob Cody Simpson has teased details about the collaborative project he's been working on with Canadian sensation Justin Bieber and revealed that fans will be able to hear what they've been doing in a couple of months.

Speaking to the Coca-Cola Studio at the Teen Choice Awards, the singer explained that he has been playing guitar on the songs they've been writing together and it's going really well:

"We’ve been doing a bunch of music over the past month or two. He just called me up and said, ‘Hey man, I’ve been seeing your Instagram videos of you playing guitar.’… I was just stoked. He said, ‘Let’s get in the studio.’ We got in that night and we ended up writing 10 or 12 songs, I was playing guitar. You’ll be hearing stuff in about two months.”

Simpson went onto add that the music they're creating is acoustic and that he is "just taking it back to my roots for this one. It’s pretty raw, but it’s pretty cool stuff. Beautiful music.”
