James Arthur slams 'embarrassing' Twitter PR team: "The job is now going to an actual fan"

James Arthur has apparently fired the people behind his Twitter account and instead offered the job to a fan.

The outspoken singer had a PR team run his social networking account last year after a series of Twitter bust-ups.

He later returned to Twitter, with some tweets still being sent from his 'HQ'.

However, on Sunday (March 23) he attacked his team for sending tweets about Mother's Day, saying:

"HQ please stop writing things like "we think you would #LOVE This and that" or "everybody #GETDOWN and buy this..." It's embarrassing. Stick to promoting Paul Potts please. Thanks. The job is now going to an actual fan. Who wants the HQ job?"

Arthur then seemingly compared himself to a captive killer whale, saying:

"Love you guys! Your support is phenomenal! The hip hop mixtape "All The Worlds A Stage" is now being mixed and will be available very soon! Announcements to come! Seeing as though I'm doing this for the fans and I'm not charging for it I would like you to design the front cover.

"I would like the front cover to be a drawing of the killer whale/ Orca from sea world who features in the documentary "Blackfish" TILIKUM. Ideally I'd like him to be attacking a crowd of people, lashing out after being exploited. Include my name and the title of the mixtape. You have a few days before a choose one of them :) and I would like to meet the artist I choose."
