Little Mix "disappointed" by BRIT Awards snub

Little Mix have revealed their sadness at not being nominated for any BRIT Awards this year.

The group released their debut effort 'DNA' in 2012 and 'Salute' in 2013 but they missed out on being nominated at the upcoming BRITs, which are being held in February.

Many thought the X Factor 2011 winners were worthy of nomination and Jesy Nelson told Capital FM that they were a little bit put out by their snub. She said:

"We're not going to lie, we were disappointed. But there's not much you can do really."

Little Mix meanwhile released their sophomore record 'Salute' in the US today (February 4) and it has launched up the country's iTunes chart.

It is currently No.2, with only Super Bowl icon Bruno Mars in their way of topping the chart.
