Lorde has spoken about potentially collaborating with Taylor Swift.

The two singers seem to have hit it off and whilst they may differ in some ways musically, the notion of them working together has been mooted.

Speaking to Capital FM, the 17-year-old New Zealander praised Swift for looking beyond musical boundaries, suggesting that she would be keen on a duet in the future.

Lorde said: "Yeah we are [different]. But I think the cool thing about Taylor is she is pretty willing to go a lot of places with music.

"I think that last record ['Red'] in particular, everyone was like 'Woah', a lot of ground has been covered. And I think with an artist like her the sky is the limit. But I don't know."

The 'Royals' star meanwhile is due to perform alongside British duo Disclosure tonight (February 19) at the BRIT Awards at London's O2 Arena.
