One Direction star Niall Horan has expressed his excitement at McBusted's forthcoming tour.

The band formed last year from members of McFly and Busted and they are due to head out on tour across the UK this year.

This has seemingly provoked something inside of Horan, who tweeted:

"Also I spoke to @JamesBourne and the mcfly lads the other night about the @mcbusted tour! Can't fucking wait! Set list is gona be amazing."

Horan's relationship with McFly stems back to the 'Love Is Easy' group writing songs for One Direction's recent records.

McBusted's first tour date meanwhile while take place at the Hydro in Glasgow on April 17.
