One Direction will return once more to the UK X Factor this weekend.

The boyband formed on the TV talent show in 2010 after being pieced together from five solo contestants.

It has now been confirmed that they will hit the stage once again on Sunday (November 9) to perform live.

The group will then release new album 'FOUR' on November 17.

Also performing over the weekend will be 'In The Lonely Hour' star Sam Smith.

The theme for the contestants meanwhile has now been changed to 'Queen versus Michael Jackson'.
