1D confirm rescheduled concert and further Belfast shows

Following the last minute cancellation of a concert last night, One Direction have released a statement reassuring fans that their shows in Belfast tonight and tomorrow will go on as planned.

Simon Jones PR have also confirmed details of the rescheduled show that was called off due to Liam Payne being ill.

The statement reads: “Tonight and tomorrow night's One Direction concerts in Belfast will be going ahead as planned.”

It goes on: “Liam thanks everyone for their good wishes. Once again we apologise for the cancellation of last night’s One Direction show.”

Setting out details for the rescheduled concert, the PR firm have informed fans: “Last night's concert will be rescheduled for this Friday 23rd October. All tickets from last night's postponed concert will be valid for Friday.

“For anyone not able to attend the rescheduled show on Friday, please contact point of purchase for detail of how to obtain a refund.”

As a result of this change in plans, the Belfast Giants & Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey Teams, who were originally booked to play at the venue, have had to move their game.
