One Direction have 5 of the 10 most retweeted posts of 2015 on Twitter

Boyband One Direction continue to set impressive milestones and statistics collected by social media site Twitter have shown that they have a total of 5 of the 10 most retweeted posts of 2015. 

At No.1 is Harry Styles with his message of comfort, which simply reads "All the love as always. H" and was posted following Zayn Malik's shock departure in late March, with 722,438722,438 retweets. At No.2 is Zayn Malik's tweet praising his former bandmates for their single 'Drag Me Down', which reads "Proud of my boys the new single is sick. Big love. x" and accumulated 565,470 565,470 retweets. 

At 3 is Liam Payne's cute celebration of five years of One Direction, which says "Wowwwww 5 years 5 boys what an amazing journey I couldn't thank you all ever enough and thank you Louis Niall Harry and Zayn for everything", attracting 495,875 495,875 retweets. Louis Tomlinson's tweet saying "Our fans support really has been a different class ! Huge love to you guys!" is at No.5 with 412,798 412,798 retweets and Niall Horan's birthday wishes for Liam Payne is at 8 with 322,569 322,569 retweets. 

Aside from tweets posted by 1D, President Barack Obama finished at No.4 with a post about marriage equality, King Salman of Saudi Arabia is at No.6 with a message about being crowned ruler, and Kanye West is at No.7. The other two spots on the Top 10 went to the late Leonard Nimoy at No.9 and Caitlyn Jenner at 10.
