One Direction, Maroon 5 achieve new UK sales milestones

The British Phonographic Industry has announced its awards for this week and the likes of One Direction, Maroon 5 and Charlie Puth can all celebrate new certification levels this afternoon. 

The BPI explained that One Direction's "Midnight Memories" has now gone triple Platinum, Charlie Puth's "Nine Track Mind" has been certified Gold, and Maroon 5's compilation album "Singles" is now Silver. 

N-Dubz's "Uncle B" is now double Platinum, Aled Jones' "One Voice" has been certified Silver, and Mike Posner's smash-hit single "I Took A Pill In Ibiza" has gone double Platinum. 

The One Direction lads are all enjoying following their own paths during their hiatus. Harry Styles is currently shooting scenes for the highly anticipated movie "Dunkirk", Louis Tomlinson is bringing up his son and looking for the next big girl group, Liam Payne recently signed a solo record deal with Capitol Records, and Niall Horan is pursuing his passion for golf.
