One Direction have added six more dates to their 2013 UK and Ireland tour.

The busy boys have already previously announced a slew of dates for early next year, with another batch later confirmed.

This morning (March 7) the former X Factor contestants added six more dates to the tour, including two new shows at London's O2 Arena.

The band also rescheduled four previously announced dates, with shows in Newcastle, Glasgow and Sheffield all moving.

The new dates meanwhile are as follows:

London, O2 Arena - April 4, 2013
London, O2 Arena - April 5
Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena - April 10
Sheffield, Motorpoint Arena - April 14
Birmingham, LG Arena - April 17
Manchester, Arena - April 19
