Sneaky One Direction fans saw an odd sight recently - two members of the boyband wearing Power Rangers outfits.

The lads are currently in the US on their North American Take Me Home tour as they solidify their place as the world's biggest pop group.

Candid pictures have now emerged of singers Zayn Malik and Liam Payne wearing Power Rangers costumes whilst in the States.

It has been rumoured that the outfits were either given to them by fans at a meet and greet, or that they were dressing up for a new video shoot.

Malik wore a full black costume whilst Payne was seen topless with blue bottoms on.

Next up on One Direction's tour schedule meanwhile is a date in Wantagh on Friday (June 28).
