One Direction's new fragrance has been named by The Perfume Shop as their fastest ever selling scent.

The boyband recently unleashed their debut perfume Our Moment and it has gone down a storm with fans.

Market heavyweights The Perfume Shop have given the product a Golden Perfume Bottle Award after it became their fastest selling fragrance ever.

Michelle D’vaz, Brand and Marketing Manager of the Perfume Shop, said: "Our Moment has outsold any other fragrance based on first week sales alone."

The company have also recruited more staff to help cope with the demand in their stores, with one bottle a minute sold.

Faye Langworthy of Modest! Management commented: “The success of Our Moment is something One Direction are very proud of. The incredible level of sales we’ve seen so far of Our Moment and the overwhelming feedback given by fans is a reflection of the band's involvement in every stage of its' creation and their desire to make a personal and unique product for their fans."

Our Moment is on sale in the UK, the US and Australia, with 30 more countries due to offer the fragrance in the coming months.
