Pharrell Williams on what makes him happy: 'I feel like I get paid for nothing'

Super producer and hitmaker Pharrell Williams has opened up about some of the things that make him happy while previewing some of his new material from his brand new studio album, 'G I R L'.

During a recent interview on Good Morning America, the 'Happy' sensation explained that "family and friends" are the two things that make him the most content and he added that being able to work in the entertainment industry is something else that keeps him smiling:

"[I love] doing what I love to do every day, feeling like I get paid for nothing".

Williams credited his wife, Helen Lasichanh, for inspiring the lyrics to his aforementioned hit single although he admitted that like everyone else he has points in his life where he feels unsettled: "I'm a human being, life has its valleys and peaks but, for the most part, I'm very appreciative."

He recently signed up to be a panelist on 'The Voice' in America for its upcoming seventh season
