Pharrell Williams has spoken out in praise of Taylor Swift after being filmed looking glum at her whilst she danced at the Grammys.

The '1989' star was in high spirits at the awards ceremony on Sunday (February 8), dancing along to much of the acts.

One shot showed Williams sitting nearby looking on with a nonplussed face as Swift got her groove on.

However, the 'G I R L' man told E! that he doesn't have any beef with her dancing, saying:

"She's awesome. Taylor knows the words to every song. It's amazing.

"That's her thing, that's her thing thing. I'm just kind of soaking it all in. It's always a new experience for me. She was kind of born in it [showbusiness]...she was damn near raised in it, so for her it's kind of like her vacation. She has a great time.

"It really is [like a prom for her]. It's a great time for her, and I love that she has that moment."
