Singer-songwriter Sam Smith has opened up about his friendship with Ed Sheeran and revealed that the 'Lego House' superstar has given him a lot of support lately. 

Sheeran joined Smith on stage in Manchester recently for a collaborative rendition of 'Stay With Me' and speaking about the impromptu duet in a new interview with Capital FM, he admitted that it was very last minute and he's grateful for the relationship he has developed with the hitmaker:

"Me and him have recently formed this friendship which is amazing and he’s such a support system for me at the moment. He’s incredible and he performed with me the other week in Manchester.”

“He decided on the day, he just came on stage and we sang, and it’s quite funny that these events are the time we get to see each other as friends so I just can’t wait to see him."
