Selena Gomez: 'I want to leave a good, lasting impression'

Songstress Selena Gomez has revealed that she takes her health and wellbeing incredibly seriously because she wants to enjoy longevity in the entertainment industry.

The beauty spent time in rehab earlier this year and has now admitted to German magazine Bravo that she understands that making sure she's in the best place both mentally and health-wise is crucial to ensuring she can do the best in her career:

"My health is the most important thing! I still want to be able to do the thing I love in ten years' time. And I want to leave a good, lasting impression."

Last month, Gomez won a Teen Choice Award and dedicated it to her fans, telling them that their support means the world to her: "You remind me, amidst all the stuff that we deal with personally, what's important, and that's giving and loving and caring about each other. I'm not trying to preach or any of that. It's just that you guys make me better, and I just really appreciate everything that you've done."
