The Vamps' Tristan reveals album secret: 'We had to record one song 30 times'

Drummer Tristan Evans, of The Vamps fame, has revealed that 'Girls On TV' initially had 30 different versions while they were recording it because every time they worked on it they felt as though it was missing something.

He asked his followers on Twitter this evening (April 15) to tell him their favourite songs from their debut album, entitled 'Meet The Vamps', and promised to tell them a secret about the most popular track from their replies:

"Whats your fav album song? The most popular one, I will tell u a funny/weird story that happened whilst recording it."

After a short break from the social networking site, Evans returned and told his fans that one track had to be recorded around 30 times before they got it sounding how they wanted it:

"Okay, so for 'Girls On TV', we had to create 30 different versions for it to be right. We even had a metal version at one point ;)"
