Adam Lambert says Queen tour has raised his profile in the UK

'Ghost Town' hitmaker Adam Lambert is currently in London ahead of his show at the Eventim Apollo on his Original High tour and sat down for a chat with Daily Star Online to talk about the Rocky Horror Picture Show and fame in general.

During the chat, Lambert opened up about being involved in the upcoming TV remake of the Rocky Horror Picture Show and confessed that he had originally been tapped for a more hands-on role but his schedule wouldn't allow it so he signed up to play Eddie:

"I was asked beforehand for a different role, but my tour schedule didn't allow it. And then I was like, can't I be there for just a bit of it? Then I thought - well, what about Eddie? He only needs to be there for one song."

Lambert went onto talk about how his fame has increased since touring with Queen and admitted that more people are recognising him on the street in England now:

"We did this New Year's Eve special in London, and we went out partying. I checked into this hotel, it wasn't the hotel my stuff was at, we just went for a party and I was like, 'I need to sleep here'. I slept in until 2, and I was like, I need to go for a walk. I was stopped by six different people. That had never happened before."
