Grammy award-winning superstar Adele was ousted from her top spot in the UK albums chart last weekend by popular rockers Foo Fighters with their new album, 'Wasting Light', but she is on course to regain her number 1 position.

OCC Data has revealed that her sophomore record, '21', which recently enjoyed an 11 consecutive week chart reign, has opened a lead of around 9,000 sales over The Foos' 'Wasting Light', so this coming Sunday could see her return to the top.
