Roxy Music to tour

Legendary art school rockers, Roxy Music are to play a tour of UK arenas early in 2011, 40 years after they first formed.

“We did a lot of festivals this summer around Europe”, said lead singer Byan Ferry.

"It's good to play to a mixture of people of different age groups, fans of other bands, and all that kind of thing. But we'll play to our own audience in February - we've got a lot of music to choose from to play."

The art rock group's hits include ‘Virginia Plain’, ‘More Than This’ and ‘Love Is The Drug’.

The 'For Your Pleasure UK' tour, will feature the original line-up of Andy Mackay, Phil Manzanera and Paul Thompson.  Coldplay Producer Brian Eno will not be joining his former bandmates, nor will Graham Simpson.

The tour kicks off on at the Metro Arena in Newcastle on January 25 and finishes at the 02 Arena in London on February 7.
