Britney Spears has admitted that she might give up music in the next few years.

The singer recently released her eighth album 'Britney Jean' and she is due to promote it with a two-year Las Vegas residency, which kicks off on December 27.

However, it seems the pop princess may call time on her career after the residency to focus on possibly adding to her family of two children.

She told Extra: "I might [retire], who knows....I may have two more kids and get married…I'd like to have more kids."

Spears is currently in a relationship with David Lucado after splitting from then fiancé Jason Trawick and she added:

"I think it does kind of help with dating someone not in the business, I could kinda understand if you're dating someone in the business they'd understand what you're going through every day and stuff. I feel like the chemistry kinda speaks for itself when you date someone out of the industry."
