Country music star Tim McGraw has revealed in an interview that his wife, Faith Hill, recently wrote songs with the band.

Coldplay's fifth studio album has no scheduled release date but they explained to Radio 1's Zane Lowe the themes the record will explore, which indicates its progress.

Front man Chris Martin's wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, starred opposite McGraw in the forthcoming movie 'Country Strong' and it has been reported that the two families became friends during the filming process. 

Speaking to E!'s Chelsea Handler, McGraw said:

"My wife is a huge Coldplay fan, and they spent a lot of time writing songs,"

"I don't want to start any rumours or anything, but I ain't heard any songs yet!"
